- Who are the auditors in the network?
- Independent, credentialed professionals we have vetted and worked with directly: Six Sigma Black Belts and Green Belts, BRCGS-recognised auditors, ISO 9001/14001 lead auditors, GMP and FSC Chain of Custody specialists, and food-safety (ISO 22000) practitioners.
- What is the difference between first-party, second-party, and third-party packaging audits?
- First-party audits are internal audits conducted by your own team to ensure operational compliance. Second-party audits are conducted by you (or Looppack on your behalf) on your suppliers to verify their quality, traceability, and material safety. Third-party audits are conducted by independent accredited registrars (like BSI, SGS, DNV) to formally award an ISO or BRCGS certificate.
- Is Looppack a certification body?
- No. Our software and auditors prepare you for certification, run internal and supplier audits, and close findings — the formal certificate is always issued by the accredited body. That separation keeps your audit honest and conflict-free.
- Can you audit a supplier we already work with?
- Yes. Second-party supplier audits are a standard workflow: process capability, hygiene, traceability and sustainability claims verified on site or through document verification, with a scored report and corrective action plan tracked in the platform.
